PETE SPADORA


A native New Yorker, known for his versatility in sports broadcasting and journalism. Spadora has over eighteen years of experience in covering a full range of professional and amateur sports.

Currently, Spadora is featured weekly on the Sports Stars Radio Network WLFH-AM 1230; WRNY-AM 1350; WADR-AM 1480; WUTQ-AM 1550 as the host of SPADORA ON SPORTS. This sports radio program is built around athlete and celebrity interviews that are broadcasted live in Syracuse, Utica and Rome; New York.
A few of the guests who have been interviewed on SPADORA ON SPORTS over the years include NY Yankee and National Baseball Hall of Fame Pitcher Whitey Ford, former NY Yankee baseball players Goose Gossage, Johnny Blanchard, Tommy John, Jim Coates, Oscar Gamble, Rudy May and Bench Coach Don Zimmer; Boston Red Sox players Bill “Spaceman” Lee and Bernie Carbo; NY Mets Howard Johnson; National Baseball Hall of Fame’s Gary Carter, Tom Seaver, Sparky Anderson; Professional Female Boxer Jacqui Frazier Lyde, daughter of former Heavyweight Champion "Smokin" Joe Frazier; professional ring announcer Mark Beiro. He has also provided play-by-play radio broadcast coverage of scholastic high school athletics including football, basketball, wrestling and baseball during regular season, playoff and championship competitions.
